Gaining Speed on AI: Why I’m Running to Keep Up

For months, my life has been on online courses, tutorials, and late-night coding sessions. I’ve been diving headfirst into the world of AI, trying to absorb everything I can.

Why the rush?

Because I know that a massive shift is happening right now, and I can either align myself with the changes or risk being left behind. Leaving behind chat groups, muting whatsapp groups and only being with family to fully focus on gaining knowledge.

The truth is, AI is no longer a futuristic concept—it’s here, and it's already changing how we work and perceive automation around us. Many people are still doing repetitive, tedious tasks that drain their time and energy. This is where AI excels. By automating these routines, we can achieve incredible efficiency and reduce operational costs, freeing us up to focus on more creative and strategic work.

I see this firsthand in my own business. I provide automation services to small startups, and the demand for AI-powered solutions is skyrocketing. Obviously its not conflicting with my work. In fact am doing a favour to startups by creating awareness and assist their business. Companies want to close the gap on repetitive work and streamline their daily operations. The fear of being replaced by AI is real, and frankly, it should be. The old way of doing things is becoming obsolete. The jobs that AI can do, it will do.

For me, the choice is clear. I can’t afford to fall between the cracks. Instead of fearing AI, I'm embracing it. By building my skills and equipping myself with this knowledge, I'm not just keeping my business relevant—I'm building a future where I can help others navigate this transition.

The gap between those who leverage AI and those who don't is widening every day. The best time to start learning was yesterday, but the next best time is right now.
